There is a wealth of information out there on what you should and shouldn’t be doing to control your menopause. Some of it’s free and some you have to pay for – But sometimes, the more you read, the more overwhelming and confusing it can all be.
Take a step back for a minute ladies and remember two little words – Common Sense!
Menopause is not an illness, so unfortunately there is no cure. However some of the symptoms are deemed as medical conditions, which you can get professional help for.
But don’t get drawn in, or tempted to spend money on things that you don’t need or already know, but may have just overlooked.
Lets get back to basics – If you follow the 5 tips below I promise you, your symptoms will be minimised, you will have more energy, you will lose weight, moods will stabilise, hot flushes will be reduced and sleep may even improve.
1.Eat healthy every day -You know what that is!
2.Exercise – Your body is designed to move, so move, every day!
3.Supplement & or take HRT when necessary – if menopause symptoms are having an effect on your life, get help. Its not a competition to see who can get through it best!
4.Make time for yourself – it is now more important than ever to take care of yourself. Be a little selfish sometimes and put yourself first – You deserve it.
5.Stay connected with our FB community for support.
Once you have all this in order and follow these rules religiously, and yes, I do mean every day!, you will get successful results.
We all experience menopause differently, what works for one, is not guaranteed to work for another, which is why we are often left feeling despondent and disappointed by what we have learnt or paid for. But by working with your body and giving it the basic requirements of good health and nutrition, and your mind the soul food it needs, in the form of self love, you will be well on your way to controlling that menopause monster that resides within.
